Bats, Hammers, and Knives indeed. Should we restrict people from carrying those as well? Maybe we should wrap DUI recipients hands in fluffy pillows so they can't hurt someone with those. Of course they could still choke someone. I'm sure you'd be in favor of whatever idiotic legislation that's proposed to stop that too... cause laws stop criminals.

In Texas, if you're convicted of a (one) felony, (any felony) you lose your right to maintain your CHL status. I'm unsure of what is required to regain the ability to carry but from what I understand it's very very difficult.

Imagine that, a conservative hell hole like Texas has smart laws about carrying a handgun. That must make your head spin right off your shoulders.

I know a lot of multiple offenders (both drugs and alcohol) who have turned their lives around and are now responsible, taxpaying citizens. People you would be proud to call your friend.

I have a hard time squaring their current behavior with lifetime bans on possessing firearms, particularly when their offenses were never violent.

Yes it is 1600 meters. It is a privately owned range that I was lucky enough to shoot at. Not a lot of people have even gotten to shoot there, I feel very fortunate to have gotten to shoot there several times.
That was my second shot w a 750gn A Max out if my Barrett 95, I had to hold over 1.5 MILs with my Night Force, so the 95 went back to Barrett to get the 27MOA rail, now no holds.
Awesome range, but Wind!!!! Yes, you get to learn to read it there or people think their equipment has issues. Lol

Anyone have any pictures of their guns mounted into their 4Runner? I've been looking at finding a way to attach something to hold an AR to the rear hatch of my 3rd gen, I think it'd be pretty sweet.

So I've found this fist clamp things and I'm considering putting them on the rear hatch of my 4Runner to hold an AR, shovel, axe, etc. I wanted to know on a scale of 1 to 10 how badly the police would react if they caught a glimpse (1 being gives me a high five and gives me 20 bucks and 10 being im going to jail). I live in SC so the gun laws in cars aren't written out in stone exactly. I think as long as I had it there completely unloaded I should be fine. Any opinions? I think it'd be pretty bad a$$.
