Last you all saw me I was in NYC, I'm now living on Oahu, Hawaii. I'm going off-roading tomorrow at Kaena Point, those here on the island are welcome to join! We are looking to get there around 1:30!

I definitely want to see some photos. I lived in Honolulu from 1950 to 1953. Hiked around Kaena Point in the Boy Scouts in those days (No road then).

There isn't any new road. It just goes a little ways put before it is gated for where the seabird sanctuary is now. If you want to go to or around the point you still have to walk.

That's probably even better. Just a walking trail should help keep it pristine.
