Napa gold or Puralator oil filters are good, or just get a Toyota factory filter.

The reason I went with the V8 is it has lifetime blinker fluid. Changing it on the V6 is a PITA.

I recently upgraded my 5th Gen SR5 Premium with some cross drilled brake lines and an engine oil bypass kit.

Our synthetic oil is expensive, so I'll make it last longer by not running it through the engine block! The side-effect is that the oil also runs cooler, making it last longer.

With that many miles the synthetic will leak and ruin all the seals and bearings(especially the muffler bearings).
