Oil Change Needed?

I have a 2018 Limited and normally only change the oil once a year due to the low miles that I put on the truck throughout the year. I last changed the oil in June but in July, I took a road trip where I put 1k miles on the truck from the trip. My first drive took close to 13 hours due to being stuck in traffic and the multiple stops we had to make because of the kids.

My question is: do I need to change the oil due to the trip or can I wait until my annual oil change to do so?

NOTE: 4Runner has about 19,000 miles and I've always used OEM Toyota oil

If you’re under 5k miles on the year I would just stick to your annual oil change. I wouldn’t change it because of 1 long trip. Unless it brings you close to 5k miles since your last one

Agreed, I do annually and don't go over 5k miles a year any more. I'd stick with the once a year unless you push over 5k. Toyota recommends every 10k, so I think you'll be fine
