Oil Cooler Leak?

First off I'm not sure if these lines are related to the oil cooler or not but I thought I would ask before I look like an idiot. I can't find much in the Service manual about if these are supposed to be capped or plugged in any way but they seem to be leaking and I'm not sure what to do about it. Maybe someone can shed some light on what these are and what I'm to do about replacing them.

The oil cooler and lines don't seem to be at a very easy spot to get at unless I'm to drop the transfer case and front axle so maybe someone has an easy solution? Thanks!

I think those are breather tubes for diff/trans, leave them alone.

Factory engine oil cooler is located on drivers side near towards rear end of engine - never heard of one leaking on here. :cowboy:

Im not sure what those lines are, but I can confirm that the factory oil cooler is a pain in the ass to work on. I replaced the coolant lines going to and from it during my water pump replacement. If I remember correctly, you need to at least remove the alternator to get to them. Plan on going through the wheel well and up from the power steering rack area.

Those are the front and rear differential breathers. Some dumbass ran the rear one all the way up to the front. So whats happening is the oil enters the hose when the it heats up, but because the line is horizontal, the oil cant flow back to diff when it cools. So it fills with oil and effectively gets pumped out the breather vent in the picture. You should fix that by shortening it and run it up by the fuel tank filler. Keep it vertical and tie it up to the filler neck as high a you can. You do not need to bring it to the gas cap.

I have a 2002 Limited 4 WD and I also have both lines in the front. I am positive that it came that way from the factory.

Locks like the smaller tube is for Differential Lock Actuator breather and the larger one is for the differential itself. From the picture , it doesn't look to be leaking. Did you clean it up?
