Oil light flickering, need help or suggestions

Just to help out, here is my tear, i dripped plastidip down the tube. the red drawn line should show you where it should be routed BEHIND the metal coolant tube that is bolted to the pump.

Reviving the thread as im having the same issue. Where is that in the picture, is that the serpentine belt, im trying to find the same wire cant seem to match what you see
That belt is the timing belt, cover was removed.

Welp, to revive an old thread again.. i too am having the flickering oil pressure light now. I did my timing belt and water pump about 3 months ago so it seems to check out with what others have done. I’ll go in to check on it some time in the next week and if it’s indeed the wiring harness rubbing on the belt i’ll post an update to confirm.

If you're having this issue, I suggest you attach an oil pressure gauge to it ASAP. The V6 has the pressure sensor near the oil filter. Easy to pull and either T it for a gauge or plug in a temp gauge. On my truck the flicker was from neglect by the former owner. The engine was full of sludge which affected the pressure relief valve and also the oil pickup.
