Oil Pan Gasket

I believe I'm leaking oil from my oil pan. It looks like a relatively easy fix but I'm probably wrong. Any suggestions?

as far as the fix goes it's easy, if you have 4WD there will be some disassembly required to get to the oil pan. as for a gasket, do not buy one Toyota uses oil pan sealant called FIPG can get it at the dealer for $20 or so. Or you could get the permatex ultra black, which also works very well. most important thing about using liquid gasket is clean oil free surfaces, be sure to get all old material and oil off completely, apply liquid gasket evenly not using fingers to spread it(oils in your hands will affect sealing), allow the sealant to sit for about 2 minutes before installing pan back onto engine(the surface of the sealant will be slightly tacky). overall the most time consuming part is cleaning your gasket mating surfaces, the rest is just removal and re installing.

Is the leak coming from the valve covers and/or the oil cooler o-rings?

Were those pics taken from the passenger or driver's side?

you need to first identify the source of the leak, as LC said.

Can you post other pics zoomed out?

Keep in mind this thing can leak from like 23 places.

This is on the passengers side. The valve covers seem to be leaking nearing the firewall. I'll clean it all and see if I can find it. I'll get better pics too.

While the valve cover replacement can be long it isn't on the same level as an oil pan IMHO.

If they have never been changed before, the time is now.
