If all this has been on the same tank of gas you should replace the fuel. If only just to eliminate that as a cause.

If I can make it to the gas station its defiantly on the check list !!

With a/c on high headlights on cold 14.34
Ran for 20 minutes same load 13.43

Junkyard I think OEM can't be sure alternator.
Reman was in there I didn't notice until after I got it out.

No codes yet

I had to rebuild a reman CarQuest that was around 2 years old. Cheep brushes don’t last long.

The reman I took off didn't look that old.
The one I pulled from the yard today looked like its been through the ringer so I wasn't real confident. I took the back apart and checked everything out and cleaned it up a bit. Installed and so far its charging much better than the reman.

I have to do a bunch of driving before I call it good.

After the injectors it ran great for about 20 miles then right back to the same crap.

Got to get some windshield time in first.

Yep. Been using it for years.

87. 89, (91, 92, 93, 94)

Acetone is water soluble and a solvent and 150 octane. It removes surface tension also.

I needed up putting 93 non ethanol fuel in it to start with. 1 hour of drive and extended idle and no codes. Not out of the woods yet.

I did the non ethanol test on my Saturn. Same mpg and out 50 cents per gallon.

I didn't care about the cost more as the station I got it from is very reputable. The other tank of gas was purchased right around the China Flu deal and most didn't have anything but regular all others out. So I wonder if it was multiple issues at this point.

UPDATE:

So after a bunch of craziness in 2 different threads. A bunch of tests. A slew of parts.
I noticed a low output of the alternator. I went to the junkyard and pulled a unit. Replaced my reman and it looks like that has been my issue.

50 miles in 2 days. Long idle times. Stop and go. Just got back in which I purposely waited for typical Florida monsoon to run the headlights-a/c-radio and run it through its paces. NO CODES

Before it wouldn't idle sometimes for 5 mins in the driveway.
