OK WTF? How does this work?

So as I'm reading the morning news like always and going through many news sources I was reading this. Not just for giggles but because I have worked with the men that brought this puke to justice finally. So the question is this. How in the hell is this guy getting the same rights as you and me and he is not an American Citizen or am I missing something all together. I think that Miller,Bezdrob,Griffin from the AP are about spot on on this assessment.

Thank you Mr. President for making us again look like a bunch of pussies. Tell you what. Just give everyone in the world the civil rights that men and women in this country have died for to pass on to the next generation, and just pay for it all while you are at it.

Next, just go ahead and put the burden of proof on the US Justice Department to spend Millions on his trial since it will be in Federal Court now and not in a Military Tribunal where it should be to begin with. Again, WTF is going on with this country!

Rant over...

Personally I think the Obama administration is totally incompetent on foreign policy.

I gave them the benefit of doubt in the beginning but after Eygpt, Libya and Syria I think they are only reactionary without any understandable forward looking policy.

Why are we sending aid to Islamist Muslims in Syria, many of which, specifically the strongest, who have publicly declared allegiance to Al-Q, and then at the same time we are fighting AL-Q in other regions? INSANE

As for that guy ... There is some precident but usually it is democratically elected leaders from latin America or drug lords. Either way we do have a history of kidnappings foreign aholes and trying them in our courts.

He stands accused of:
, al-Libi is believed to have used an early-generation Apple computer to assemble surveillance photographs in Kenya before a bombing there that killed more than 200 people. That information was presented to Usama bin Laden, who approved the attack, a former federal law enforcement official has said.

Because we have an incompetent amateur of a President putting feel good principles ahead of our nation's well-being.

He just cares about how he'll be perceived by the left wing media, whose approval he's constantly begging for--as he actually cannot go a day in his life without praise.

If only we had a white guy in office! :(

Aaaaaand, que the race-card......

Anyway. Right or wrong this administration has decided to treat terrorists as criminals rather than combatants. There are really advantages and disadvantages to each. The previous administration didn't fully address this either to be fair.....instead they went for a holding area to keep us safe and passed the buck on I regards to the legal technicalities/ nuances. In my opinion , we need a third category for this new type of enemy we are facing

I remember sitting in my High School Government class back in '07 with an extremely liberal teacher who went on and on almost daily about how unfair Bush's military tribunal trials were. This just reminded me of that, and how ridiculous it is that our administration feels we need to grant foreign prisoners with the same rights as Americans.

Why is it that when we clearly have the bad guy, that we don't treat him as such? I'm not saying mutilate the guy or make him suffer necessarily, but now we have to hear about this trial go on and on (knowing the money is pouring out the window) while the defense tries to say that he was "setup".

There was a guy that tried to set off a bomb a few years back here in Portland at a large Christmas tree lighting ceremony a few years ago. The guy said something along the lines of wanting everyone to leave in body bags. Am I wrong for wishing we just put a .45 in his skull instead of hearing how he was an innocent victim that was targeted by law enforcement?

It just bothers me that each day we are moving farther and farther away from the constitution that this country was founded on....

Sadly or stupidly our Government refuses to name the enemy we are fighting, Islam. As long as we do this we are doomed. They are out to win, at any cost, and our ****ing leaders act like pussies, worried about our enemies "rights"! How the hell does an enemy have rights? Stupid idea for sure! And people are afraid to speak out and be called "racist" Which is wrong, Islam is a religion/cult, not a race! Political correctness will kill us all! Gotta speak out when you can, or we are ****ed!!

Just going to drop this here ....

Whether you are conservative or not, military or not I highly suggest listening to this 90 minute academic debate. It will play on a smartphone or PC.

Is Islam A Religion Of Peace?

Is Islam A Religion Of Peace? : NPR

I'll give you a clue about the answer .... in order to just have the debate they had to hire armed guards and setup bomb scanners. There were death threats on all the participants. BUT it is still a very very informative debate and worth watching.

This is not a politically correct liberal, every culture is equal kind of debate. It is just raw facts and emotion, no need to be PC.
