I was wondering that too, I saw this ad last week and shared it with a friend. It looks like a left hand drop, so it might be stock, but it could have a tacobox. Transmission is better off stock anyway.

They invested a lot of time and money into that truck. It's probably worth all of that asking price, but I'd have a hard time believing they'd ever get that kind of scratch for a prebuilt truck.

Least expensive SAS 3rd gen I've seen is $15,500, its in the classifieds here if you want to see it. Leaf sprung though, don't think he will get that much. 24K is a lot of money, but I spent $8500 to buy and build two FJ80 axles. We spent close to 30K to build a first Gen, and that with my paint work and fabrication for free! I think closer to 20K is a reasonable offer, if I were so inclined.

He spent way more than that building that thing, not sure if he'll get that for it but who knows. Personally I think its VERY nice looking and would be a ton of fun! I'd buy it in a sec if I had the cash. Couldn't build it for that.

That axle is sick and makes me want my mommy. This truck is worth every bit of 25k and probably much more, if I was looking for a turnkey wheeler I'd be all over that.

its funny how some here talk about overpriced yet have no clue what it cost to build something like that. i guess its something about people with no money that like to hate and talk out of their ass.
