I'm bringing this back from the dead! Any of you guys still around with your 4Runner? I have literally only seen ONE modified runner where I live in the Edmond/Deer Creek area

I've seen 3 or 4, 3rd gens in my area, no lifted or modded 5th gens. Are there any good Toyota shops to do work up there? I need some major work on my 3rd. I'm SW of you...don't know of any trails really anywhere.

Haven't taken the runner there yet, but there is a shop called Auto accessories unlimited that does lifts, wheels, tires etc. I've seen a few pics of som 4Runners they have done work on and they look great. Plan on giving them a shot in the next week or so when I get my lift wheels and tires.

I'm just trying to get a good feel for some 5th gen friends out there. I'm a newbie to the 4Runner game and was trying to link up for some help with minor stuff like fender liner mod, amber light markers etc.

Kinda Dead in Oklahoma

I hope its just the weather that has everyone in hibernation mode but the weather is improving so maybe more will be online ?

Just got my Drill orders for Fort Sill, OK (Lawton area). I've googled OHV areas and they seem scarce, is there just a lack of internet or am I doomed???
I'm coming from Colorado so I know it will never compare but anyone with any info would be dope; not looking for immediate area, we're willing to travel.

I'm totally down with goin to Crossbar and meeting some fellow 4Runners. I was out there about a month and a half ago. Would you pm me a little more detail. I'll also have to check with my SO

Sorry I missed you Spanky4R it was a great time. Was even taken out of my comfort zone but the 4Runner did it like a champ and I found the only weakness was me and the wife screaming :biggrin2: We will be doing another trip there and hopefully staying the night next time.

Not quite doomed but you are correct in NOTHING like colorado has to offer. Cross Bar Ranch in Davis is a great place to wheel, I was there this past weekend and we had a great time. In June they are hosting a off road race there. Soggy Bottom is another place but have never been there and Disney Ok is most likely the most famous place everyone goes to.

Just purchased some 5100s and a 1.5 rear spacer. Looking for anyone whos running 1.75/1 or 2.5/1.5. Id really like to see the height before installing.

Also interested in hearing some of the audio upgrades you may have done.

I've been in Oklahoma for over a year, but my 4Runner just got here.

I just drove my 4Runner from the west coast to the Tulsa metro. Had it for about 18 months, but just ran a carfax on it. Turns out it was originally sold new at Jim Norton Toyota in Tulsa. So I brought her home, haha!
