old toyota Van

I see this old Toyota Van near by sometimes. Thought it was a Previa type, sloped nose. No Previa name plate, and I will keep a lookout for it now for a better look. Doing a search on Previa, I think it is older than that now.
Lucked out, still there. 1989-1990 4x4 diesel Master Ace Surf.

In South America, namely Peru, the transportation sector (privatized) using these things as "combis". They use them as buses and charge very little to transport people around the city along a route. Anyway, they are used very hard. I had a HiLux pickup with a diesel and mechanics told me those engines last forever.

Something like this? We bought one back then. Very cool but kind of underpowered. Lived in Cali at the time definitely not for Colorado. But they did make a 4wd as well.

the one I saw was similar to 1989-1990 pics I found on line. Even the old decals were still in good shape.
