So I have the opportunity to purchase some 891's for a good bit less than retail, used of course, but I'm worried about ride harshness. I would probably pair them with LC shocks, but I'm open to suggestions. I just don't want my wife/kids to be complaining everywhere we go when the back is unloaded. We take the car most places, but any time we go to state parks, the runner has the permit sticker and carries more (still only about 100lbs in the cargo area, though).
Are the 891's, even with the best shock option I can come up with, still going to be too firm when the runner is unloaded?
Edit: I've read, as I do every day, hundreds of posts. Opinions vary, but I haven't seen too many different shock combos with the 891's, so I'm asking specifically if anyone experienced a nicer on-road ride with 891's and certain shocks.
