Ome bp 51s showed up today

So I have had a Toytec lift on my 16 4Runner for just under a month now. I have been very pleased with it but I have found that it is a little soft on the rebound on the shocks. So in my adventure for finding something new I came acrossed OME new BP 51. After some investigating on the internet I have found that most people that have purchased these are stoked in the way that they ride. So after coming to my own conclusions I purchase to set from Toyota parts for you.com also the place that I purchased my original Toytec kit. I also purchased the lower control arms upper control arms and panhard bar for the rear. Also with longer brake lines all the way around. And here are some pictures of my progress.

More pics. I know we're not supposed to measure this way but I ended up 39 inches in the front to the ground + 40 inches to the ground in the rear. All complete now with brake lines installed much better brake pedal. And have absolutely beat it up driving it up and down the curbs so far I am enjoying the ride. I will update after this weekend taking it on a 700 Mile Road Trip.

For anyone interested in this lift for their 4Runner it is extremely worth the money. I have found myself the last few days trying to find the bumpiest roads that I can find and these things handle amazing. The first few bumps you feel but once you get the shock moving you feel nothing else ARB did one hell of a job.

I noticed ARB/OME is like that all around. It's more comfortable to just take washouts at like 15-20 and you don't feel a thing. If you go too slow they bounce you around like a bull

I believe the only major difference is the lower shock bushing size. From pictures, it looks more difficult to modify on the BP-51s

Love my OME BP51's. Great kit. Were you able to get the rock shields on? I couldn't get mine to fit and properly mount.

I ended up with about 3" once everything settled with the fronts set at 12mm from the 20mm they came set at and used the light coils in the rear. Good rake, just off level. I've got some driver side lean, need to get a spacer for the rear to tweak it.
