OME front springs with other shocks

I read on one of the OME distributors site that the OME front springs will only fit with the OME front struts. Does anyone know if this is true and what the reason for saying this would be? A spring is a spring as far as I can tell.

Because they won't warranty the product since it can cause a bad ride and ball joint, cv shaft failure. Mainly due too spacers and too stiff of shocks.

They'll fit any shocks. OME shocks aren't great, look at Bilsteins.
