One 4Runner Wasn't Enough...

So I went out and bought a new Trail to keep my 99 Limited company. Sticker $38.7g, sale price was $35.2g, and I had them order me a set of TRD Pro wheels as a condition of the sale. Those get here next week.

Today I went to work with Plastidip.

I love this thing. So comfortable.

My plan is also to keep my 3rd gen and upgrade to a 5th when my wife's car is paid off since I really love the aggressive look of mid gen refresh.

Good plan. I'm going to keep the 99 as a spare/snow driver/dog mover/stuff hauler/trail and camping rig, and DD the 16.

More Plastidip work today.

I ended up peeling the 4RUNNER off. I was impatient with the dip. Put it on too thick, couldn't peel it cleanly. I may end up peeling the sombrero, too. I'm undecided.

7 or 8 pretty wet coats, and maybe 3 or 4 coats of clear.

No the 99 has always parked outside. My 2015 GTI used to park inside. It's a tight fit with the 16, but I make it work. Wasn't willing to let it live outside.

The wife's Sonata occupies the other spot inside.
