is there a reason why it won't fit 2010-2013 4runners? is the cubby a different dimension?

I have the one he gave away and have been using it since I received it. It is super sturdy. It locks into the cubby and there is no vibration at all so the screen is easy to see and read. Now, I don't have to grab my phone from the slot or cupholder anymore. And, if I have a passenger in the car, both cupholders are usable.
