Opinions for new shocks

Hey guys, I have a 99 Limited 4X4 with 240K miles, so I figure its about time to replace the shocks. I dont have a lift, but am considering one with maybe spacers down the road.

I want a really smooth ride, like how some Lexus drive, and wondering opinions about what kind of shocks to replace the stock ones with. I plan on replacing within a few months, nothing done immediatly, just want to start researching

Cant go wrong with bilstein. Tokico is good too.

I hate to say this, but my Monroes ride really nicely for being such an inexpensive shock.

icons or radflow....other wise get the bilstiens or an adjustable gas shock like a rancho 9000 ........

I second this. A lot of members here will tell you to stay clear of monroe shocks but I don't do any offroading and replaced with these at 200K miles and the truck rides fine.

I suffer from sag though so I may be upgrading in the spring, unless I can just replace the springs with 99 coils and still use these shocks.
