It reminds me of a P51 Mustang, which I have always liked, but I see what you're saying.

I mean, I have a smaller one up front, but since this one is going in the rear... I mean, is more always better?

So earlier I saw a post here that seems to have been removed for whatever reason.
Since it is gone I won't say who wrote it, but in a nutshell it said:
"Buy a fire extinguisher because it works, not because its cute"
And like an ice water bath of reality I realized I didn't even think about it...
I mean, if it had "Kiddie" written on the side of it I wouldn't have even looked at it again, but since it didn't.... I never even questioned the quality (and I actually have friends in the fire service :wow

So red faced I took to the Oracle of Googles to try to remedy this short sightedness by digging up all kinds of wonderfull stats and compliances and certifications and initials and acronyms and reviews and anything else that will give me back the warm fuzzies of dignity, as well as assurance that it won't let me die when I need it.
Unfortunately that didn't really happen....

I love that the 'merica fire extinguisher is made in France. I think it's fine, I even like the way it looks, but it's French which is inherently less reliable than Jeep, so to the point above if it is as reliable as a French jeep Citroen Wrangler? maybe no, if it works great, go for it!!

Ha. Yeah, that was me. Unfortunately, I tend to be snarky sometimes. Then, I second-guess what I wrote, and sometimes delete it.
I delete some snarks even before "submit".
So, if your Google-foo is strong, you might find a terrific thread on here written by someone who really knew his extinguisher shit. Most informative.

I got the space-time thing from my post graduate studies in Astrophysics.

Look at the extinguishers the stores have hanging on their walls the next time you shop and you will see they don't have Kiddes or whatever else they stock on their shelves. They buy quality extinguishers."

So here's an update for anyone who cares....
So I went ahead and bought this thing, and what I recieved was not what I was expecting.
In their defense I guess, I saw weight and it said 2.5kg which made me think it was a 5 pound extinguisher...
Above that though, I now see it says "Tank: 1Kg marquée CE", which I ignored completely.
The "1Kg" part of that I guess is refering to it being a 2.2 pound tank.
Oh, and the " 'Murica " part IS just a sticker. With bubbles in it!
So yeah, I now have a cute desk ornament.
So I went ahead and bought this thing, and what I recieved was not what I was expecting.
