opposite of 3rd gen lean?

Hey all, searched and didn't find any cases of the same but should i be looking for the same causes as if it were a driver's side lean?

Just installed T1s and 5100s, new LCAs and balljoints all around and had it aligned. Now, days later, i noticed the passenger rear is sitting a good bit lower and once noticing that i realized the pass front was sitting a little lower as well.

Surely the T1/5100 combo isn't side specific and i just glazed over that right? I don't know what rear springs i have but they are grey and 3ish inch. I could attempt swapping them but im thinking that isn't my problem as the lean wasn't happening to any noticeable amount before swapping the front end.

Any help is appreciated!

Could this be caused by factory pan hard bar positioning with a lift?

there is definitely a chance the fronts are side specific. can probably call the manufacturer and confirm within 5 mins.

or you could think of it this way: when you get in the drivers seat, your weight will level it out.

not likely, but not impossible. I have a 3" lift (OME890 + 5100 in rear) and my panhard bar holds no tension/compression forces. it literally falls out when I remove one bolt.

not saying this is every case, but my personal situation.

Appreciate the response

Talked to Wheelers and the fronts are not side specific.

hmm, is your gas tank empty? ill notice a lean on mine when the tank is full vs empty. but other than that, i have no other words of wisdom.

its on the empty side but wasn't completely dry by any means. probably between a quarter and half :noidea:

About to tow it to Utah on Sunday so once I'm settled out there i'll look into it further.
thanks for the help

I hate to be the one to ask this, but did you ensure both front 5100's were set to the same height if the fronts are adjustable?

Some of the rubber bushings may bind at ride height of you tightened at another position with suspension on jack stands or anything.

With a standard load of gas, spare tire, and any accoutrements that stay on in regular conditions...

Try
at ride height: loosen all bushing bolts, jounce, tighten.

front, rear, and panhard.

If it was binding, jouncing is the important part. Even drive down and back driveway with all bushing bolts loose.

I don't see this discussed much in here, IMO should be SOP

First thing i checked
Lol i appreciate the thought though, could be something dumb

Ill have to give that a shot once settled, appreciate the help.

Again thanks everyone for chipping in

When doing any suspension work, this gets overlooked a lot. Best thing to to is load the suspension (weight of truck on the tires themselves) and then tighten everything. I'm also curious to as to what you end up finding out about this.

Ill report back once i get it figured out

Update, unloaded the 4runner from the dolly after the 1200 mile trek and while reconnecting the driveshaft i found this

Knowing what all the PO left halfway done I suppose at some point before now i should have checked all of the rear suspension but i only had time for the front so far. Thinking that the sway bar sitting like this could be causing the (correction) driver side to lift a bit.
Hoping to get some time tomorrow to jack it up and at least get it back into factory position though my replacement mount wont be here until friday.

Did the sway bar shift over in the bushings and wedge under driver spring? Are the end links not hooked up?

End links are hooked up and its not under the spring but stuck on the ledge there where its supposed to on the face with the bracket that is totally missing. Also, glad a peaked under from the back at one point because one shock bolt was visibly loose and the abs sensors were just hanging.
Honestly at this point i need to go over everything he might have touched just to be safe.

wow that is a unique situation. never heard of that before. good find. now you get to buy some new sway bar bushings! Or run w/o sway bars (like me, I call it wobbletastic)

Hahahahaha thats funny
Got it unwedged and used an old tow strap to hold it in place until the new bushings and brackets come in. Didnt get a great look yet but seems to have leveled out quite a bit. I’ll measure later and see where we actually stand
