Orange (Inferno) Paint and Red Stitching?

Does anyone have this setup on TRD Pro? I am SERIOUSLY trying to decide on the inferno or the white and I want to hear it from some folks that have this set up. I looked (foolishly) very hard at the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and the orange (Mango Tango) used red stitching on the black interior like the T4R Pro. I haven't sent eh T4R Pro, but I'm scared it looks like a conflict again. It just looks like a bad match to me and I don't want to spend $50,000 to feel like my truck doesn't match every day.

I WOULD LOVE SOME INPUT on this if anyone has any first hand experience.

I can not answer your question with regards to stitching but I can however say if you pay $50k for a 4Runner you have bigger issues than color matching:behindsofa:

I have an inferno pro and at some point the thought crossed my mind that red and orange don't match, but it has never bothered me or occurred to me again until now... If it really matters to you keep in mind it also has red on the center caps and red springs. I still think it looks great.

The 2015 4runner TRD Pro MSRP is $43-$44k. The initial ballpark estimate I got the the SC was $6k. That would put me at $50,000. Any issues I should be concerned about?

Thanks for responding. I was secretly hoping someone would say, "Nah, they're the same color." Because I can't tell from the pictures and videos I've watched. You see red and orange a lot together when representing fire in art and some other applications, but it just seems weird. Thanks a bunch for your input. I guess I need to go white if I'm chicken. It may seem silly to some people, but I've been driving a Prius for 8 years (my 4x4 third vehicles have rarely matched this purchase), so I want to do it right.

Nope not trolling and um yes.... paying $6k over MSRP is what I would call pretty damn stupid. BUT with that said if you want it that bad and are willing to pay more than a vehicle is worth..... then you shouldn't be concerned at all. At the end of the day it's your money to burn

If by "SC" you mean supercharger:

1) They do not exist.
2) $6K wouldn't be nearly enough.

Buy it, red and orange are complimentary colors.

ETA: 3) Whoever told you a S/C is available is waaaaay out of touch. Please don't tell us it was your dealer.

So helpful. Thanks. The dealership told me I could get it. I have been reading that people have been waiting for a long time. I assumed it just came out this year and was stoked because I thought I would be one of the first to get it.

As far as I know a suercharger is not available. I would contact the dealer and ask him where he got his information. Honestly I would probably avoid that dealer. Welcome to the forum, lots of things can be learned here and generally everyone is very helpful.

They are complimentary colors, but the one thing you cannot see in most pictures of this paint is that it changes with different lighting. To me in the sun light, the truck looks like the color of fire :flamethrwoer2: with highlights and shadows of red, orange and yellow. In a garage under florescent lights it's a deep orange. I have pondered plasti dipping the TRD red on the wheels though just to see how the wheels would look totally blacked out. Again, the pic doesn't do the paint the justice, but here is one of it in the bright sun...sorry for the big pic. Welcome to the forum!

OK, here's the deal. First spell it S/C. Unfortunately, as a newb you don't know that the S/C has been a hotly debated, promised, cancelled, promised again, cancelled again, ignored, speculated about, etc etc etc for several years now - and a few d!ckbrains on here don't realize that you don't know that. So you're getting poked (Tampa seems to breed smartasses)

Now, as to your dealer and the S/C. He is either VERY poorly informed or is totally effing with you to get a sale/deposit/whatever. I suspect the latter, maybe both. I think he is just trying to lock you in and screw the consequences when you learn the truth.

Listen up: There is no S/C. KNOWN FACT for a long time. That ship has sailed (with TRD anyway). A company called URD was in development but that seems VERY VERY unlikely. Move on. Besides, you have little leverage on the purchase of a TRDP, they are in demand and many dealers are selling/asking above msrp.

PS: Before you ask, no there is NO aftermarket power performance for the 5G 4R.

Thanks. I can handle some harassment, but that dude was acting like a douche. I have been reading the forum off and on and everyone seemed super cool which is why I started to participate. The dealer straight up told me he could do it for ballpark $6,000, but they were going to get a final price fore me. Obviously that is not the case... thanks for making up for the troller.
