Ordering: SR5 VS SR5 Premium

We are considering ordering a 2016 SR5 in Magnetic gray with beige.

One thing we are stuck on is the fact that the toyota website does not explain what comes additional when ordering an SR5 Premium over the base SR5.

Can anyone break it down for me?

I want to think it just includes softex and navigation?

The Premium-Moonroof, Side Indicators in the mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror, navigation is standard with the Premium, (option on SR5) power passenger seat, heated seats, softex.

*This is what I remember on the 2015's*

Good luck and enjoy your new 4runner !!

All those things were definitely worth it for me.

What is the price difference? 6k?

I got the regular SR5 to save that money...then I added leather seats at the dealer (katskinz) for 1k on all three rows then added aftermarket head unit with nav for another 1k.....the other things like heated seats are not worth it imo

Sunroof!!!!!! Keeps my bald head tan!

Turn signal indicators in side mirrors!!!!! Helps others know what I'm about to do - and avoid me!

Auto-dimming rear view!!!!! Helps my tired eyes when driving at night!

Heated seats!!!!! I live in Mississippi. I'm not even sure these work...

Homelink is also standard on the premium... another forgotten luxury... I'm using all 3 links on mine, very convenient. You should be able to navigate their website and compare the 2 side by side, what is standard what is an option and what is not available. Keep poking around on their site, very helpful.

For the money I would get a Trail instead of the premium package. 3 grand for leather and a hole in the roof is a bit ridiculous.

Main things have been pointed out ("leather", sunroof, power pass sea text). It really comes down to what you want and if the $$ is worth it. I really wanted a sunroof so I went premium for that reason. The negotiated price on base vs premium was worth it to me.

You'll want to look at the Softex fake leather carefully.

It's a love it or hate it affair. I hate it, but that is personal taste.

I'll be curious to see how it holds up over the long haul. I do know Toyota's cloth seats are extremely durable.

The brochure link is here.

It's now for the 2016, but I don't think there were any significant changes. It's down on the 4Runner site near the bottom...

Just picked mine up this past Friday. I ended up going with the SR5 premium, I wanted the upgraded heated seats specifically. It's not real leather, but unless you say otherwise most won't even notice the difference. Not that I am trying to trick anyone though.
