Outer Tie Rod Replacement: OEM or go with Energy Suspensions rods?

I'm doing this in conjunction with a steering rack replacement, which I am considering using the Energy Steering Rack Bushing kit.

I will also replace the tie rods, OEM or Energy?

Energy suspension does not sell tie rod ends for our vehicles. Are you talking about the sway bar end links?

If you're talking about sway bar links, the choice is yours. I'm replacing my links but not OEM, not at $88 per side.

If you're talking about the actual tie rods then OEM tie rods (can't buy bushings for these) is the preferred choice. You need to clarify.

Most on here will tell you to go OEM with the I/OTRE. Based on some good information on this website I ordered mine through an overseas broker saved quite a bit.

Order them through Amayama. Save yourself a few dollars.

Outer tie rods, just as it states. Replacing these when I swap the rack.

so far 2 for OEM, I think Ill take that route, can get them for $54 each

Those are MOOG, not ES. Just being sold there. That being said. Go OEM.

Toyota of Dallas has them for $46.15 ea. Still not as good as $32 from Amayama but better than $54. They're fast too.

Great choice. My aftermarket OTRE failed in less than a year. Just slapped one OEM ones last week

I ran an aftermarket OTR on my 97 2wd with 0 problems. I had 265/75/16 tires.
