overland expo east?

I was wondering where you went. You don't strike me as the type of guy who would high tail it for a little rain. I would really like to see the Expo East in full force. There were hoards of people leaving on Saturday because of the nasty weather. By Sunday, there were not very many people there at all. I left at 1PM on Sunday because the only classes remaining on my schedule were honestly above my head and I had a 7 hour drive ahead of me.
 
My fiancé and I are planning on heading out there. We will probably bring both my 4Runner and his Wrangler so we can both have some fun.

I agree. I'll be bringing a co-worker with a lifted yota pickup. I'll also be bringing a friend who overlands on a triumph tiger. How did you know that the 2 guys were members? Stickers? If so, I don't put stickers on my runner lol.

also got to talk to the guys at expedition overland and look at their 4runner

as far away i this event is i think it would be cool to make a facebook event page to get as many toyotas as we can there. would be cool to see a lot of toyota owners camp in the same area or even travel to the event or organize trail rides before or after the event
 
I'll be there with the wife and kids. We are making it a part of a full week vacation so I will probably only do one full day of the OE. I will be on the lookout for T4R.org badges.
 
Bump. Wanting to see if we can get a Toyota group camping together at the event. Would be great to talk to some Toyota guys for once at the event. 4runner's taco's and fj's in the same place would be cool
 
I'm definitely going again this year and the Biltmore Estate is such an EPIC location!! I don't know how they scored that. I just hope we dont tear the place up this year like we did last October. People were getting stuck JUST LEAVING THE EVENT. Hilarious!

It would be awesome to hit up Uwharrie Nat Forest while we are in the "neighborhood". It is 3 hours from Asheville, but I met some guys from SouthEast Overland Group last year and they highly recommended Uwharrie NF.
 
Wife and I plan on being there, will do the whole weekend along with training and classes and such. Certainly want to do a trail ride and see all there is to offer.

i was glad i camped at the top of a hill with all that rain. cant wait to see what happens with the new location. it would be cool to get a trail ride in before or after the event. keep me posted on here or facebook if you plan to do a trail run around the event.

there is so much to see but i was sad to only see a few 4runners and non had t4r stickers

wish i had a chance to do the land rover trail ride but was full and they were all getting stuck from the large amount of rain it got last year.




hope to see a lot of guys out there this year because its hard to talk mods to the chevy and nissan guys i was parked with. still trying to forget how much fun the bfg booth jeep jk was to drive
 
they've hinted that they might allow club camping areas this time, if so maybe we can organize a t4r area
