Overland Trailer Progress 98%

Well a week before summit we are down to just a few steps.

I got the Ropax Fuel and water tanks in yesterday, the Texas Metal Works Propane and CO2 tank Holders (AWESOME) showed up around 4:30, and I installed my old (RTT) tent just to get a feeling of progress.

This weekend I will finish wiring the lights, breaks, and dome light. and I still have not figured out what to do with the deck. (opinions)

I am in Ft.Worth..

When I built this trailer, we were building a budget trailer for a local kid at the same time. We used cheaper axles, cheaper wheels, army style box, cheaper hitch, smaller jack, lighter spring, and a used roof top tent. we ended up building it for right a 2600 total parts (even tires). It came in nearly 2k less than this build, and I am thinking about building another one to sell.

We are going to add shocks, however, getting Tenneco to give us the information we need (compression rates and speed) it is hard to pick a shock. I want to do one that is very soft, but is valved to be stiff on short fast bumps. we found one in the Monroe sensatrack from tennico but we wanted to use one of their Rancho branded shocks.

The jack does pivot out of the way for towing.
