P0741 torque converter circuit performance or stuck off

Hey T4R group,
Long story short, in the morning was on theb on ramp to get on the freeway, not even a mile in i get a check engine light, first one since ownership of the vehicle last year.
It threw a P0741 code. I've looked on the web and don't just want to throw money on 7 quarts of oil and a 333.61 torquue conveter lock up solenoid.
Has anybody had any experience with this code? I have a 2004 4runner SR5 V6 4WD. I looked on the history and on 1/2018 it had a trans oil flush and new trans oil from dealership installed at 156,401, I'm currently at 181,011 thats about 25,000 miles. Could it really be the mentioned solenoid or could it be something else? I erased the code and drove home and it popped up again. Erased it again and drove to the store, it did not come back up. Please any help is appreciated.

I had a p2759 for Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Ctrl Circuit Electrical, so not the same but still torque converter related. It started randomly, and I cleared the code. It would show up kind-of randomly on cold starts after sitting for a weekend or working from home. Most times converter clutch would lock up as normal, and I would just clear it and expect to see it back anywhere from 60-1500 miles. Eventually it was every start, cold or hot, and the code showed as soon as I shifted into drive.

I had a transmission shop take a look at it, solenoid tested good, but there was an issue with an external harness. They soldered in a new connection and its been good for the past few hundred miles.
