No problem. I'm glad to help. It went on fairly even, and it is pretty difficult to screw up as long as you do lots of thin coats. When you first start spraying it it is a little scary because it looks really splotchy, but once it dries it evens out to a good OEM looking texture. Don't worry about getting it fully covered with the first coat. Just take it slow, and if you find that you missed a spot, you can just add another coat at any time.

Would using some 3m or such type double sided tape to aid in getting a good hold. I would rather take them off but if its a total pita to make them fit right after idk, would the tale help any? Or hurt more?

Taking them off really makes them easier to paint and clean, but it is a bit extra work. Another thing you may want to consider is a "flare gasket" to help with getting rid of the gap between the body and flare. Heres a link to what I'm talking about. I never seem to haev good luck with the double sided 3m tape.... Not sure what the trick to using it is ..

I went the truck bed liner route and got a whole kit for about $75 and taped off my flares, used a green scrubby pad to get em all scuffed up and rolled it on. Ended up slappin 3 coats on. Take me about a half a day since that rubber takes foreverrr to dry but well worth it! Very pleased

Another option is plastidiping the flares. This is the method I'm going to use and if I recall COB did this on his and it's been holding up pretty well. Plastidip + clear coat.
