I am going to be relocating my family to Florida in about a month. My wife got laid off and I hate my job so we have decided to relocate from NH to Fl. We are looking at the Palm Coast area. I found 2 houses we are looking to rent and the are on the southern tip of Palm Coast. Just looking for some insight as to what we can expect. Thanks in advance for any help.
Palm Coast Fl. area info needed. Anyone local ?

Odd to see "palm coast" in this section, I grew up there, still live 20 mins away, houses are fairly cheap and very abundant there right now. Palm coast is definitely bigger and more populated, at one time the fastest growing city in the U.S. I believe, you have a good mix of people, that's both good and bad. The city has grown quite a bit in a short period of time, overall lots of little parks, close to the beach, good roads, fairly safe, plenty of golf, tennis, fishing, boating, and now shopping, no malls yet, but plenty of land set aside for expansion. Oh and a couple nice spots to go off road if that's your thing. Hope it works out for you guys.
Thanks for the reply. My sister lives in Port Orange also. I asked her about the area but she had never really been there. She asked a few people she worked with about it and they said Quail Hollow was in the boonies. Im from NH, I dont know if they REALLY know what the boonies are. Anyway, thanks for the input.

Quail Hollow is in the outskirts, not sure if you're a city person, but it's not really country, just not completely built up out there yet. Same with Seminole Woods, it had a growth spurt, and is more populated then it was, but by no means is every lot built on, still plenty of trees.
