parking lights in headlamp housing?

Is there a trick to get the parking lamp bulb out with out removing the entire headlight? I am replacing wth LED's.

lol yeah, it's very easy to do. Pop the hood and stick your hand over in there turn it a little bit and it comes out.

You must have hands the size of a childs. I tried doing this yetsterday and it is far from "easy".

good luck theyre in there tight, just work at them. i was going to do leds and when they came they had a warning on the bag not to install in headlight housings because of the heat would cause them to fail and void there waranty.

yes, mine say the same thing about the warranty, but they only cost like 3 bucks so Im not concerned if they fail.

I dunno man, my hands definitely aren't small and I thought it was pretty easy to get to, I even got to the drivers side w/out taking the battery out, now that was hard.

Ok, I just got back in from trying to get these lights out. No way. I need to take the headlight out. How do I get the black strip off that covers the bottom bolt on the headlight housing? It feels like some kind of clip?

Don't kid. It is very difficult. Tried last night, was only able to get the plug off the passenger side. Not even close to any progress on the drivers side. Tried twisting both counter/clockwise. Didn't want to break the housing so I gave up. Which way should it turn out?? Also the excessive amount of silicone the dealership used to detail the engine bay is contributing to this headache.

LOL! I swear it's really not that hard... my hands aren't that small either, lol. It's right below the turn signal and it's very long, easy as hell to get to, at least for me it was.

Not modding anything. Trying to replace a burnt out parking light..
