Part needed

I’ve looked on the for sale section but no luck thought I’d try here.
Just cracked/broke recently. Is this turn signal or fog light-square one so I ask for the right thing.
Drivers side, 99 Limited
If anyone has it or knows where to get one I’d appreciate it.

I've never seen good ones in junkyards, they are always hazed or cracked.

Perhaps a WTB post in the classified here or look for someone parting out if you're not in a hurry; otherwise order a new pair from a dealer and call it done.

There was a guy parting out here in Chicago but they were already gone.
Cool I’ll have new parts to install soon!

The part came in but it’s sll clear.
The old ones have the orange marker part.
Is it ok to have completely clear? New one on right.
Should I change them to match? OCD in me says yes but...

Swap out the bulb for an orange one. Bring the old one with you to your local auto parts store.


What colors are legal for turn signals?
With some regional exceptions, lamps facing rearward must emit red light, lamps facing sideward and all turn signals must emit amber light, while lamps facing frontward must emit white or selective yellow light. No other colours are permitted except on emergency vehicles.

but I could paint the bulb orange right? what's that color that y'all are using to paint the LEDs to be green or xxx color?

Just buy a bulb. Probably come in a 2 pack for a few bucks.

You can get factory style turn signals, no problem. I have a nearly new set sitting in the garage... leftover since my aftermarket bumper install. PM me if interested.

Completely fine to have clear turn signal lenses. Most likely they were sold to match the clear corners. Did you buy those DEPO ones on eBay? If so, I may have to pick up a set.

And yes, I would switch them out.

Hepar - yes I got those but now I see there are ones with the amber part so I'm either going to return the ones I got or go get the amber bulbs.
I'd rather get the housing with the orange/amber already there because the regular 7440 bulb is easier to find than the amber ones.

Ebay has the housing with amber in it for around $13/each.

NAPA carries the amber 7440. 7440NA (NA= Natural Amber).
