2015 TRD Pro stock grill/emblem swap onto Trail Edition
Found a Craigslist deal, guy has a TRD he now has a full bumper takeoff after a steel front bumper upgrade. He says the nameplate badge is glued like hell to the bumper, not just screwed.
Questions:
1.) Can the nameplate be removed from the stock TRD bumper in such a way it can be then re-installed onto my stock Trail bumper?
2.) Any reason the TRD nameplate will not work with the new upper grill part?
He does not have the upper grill for sale, so I will need to buy the upper grill part #PZ327-35053I
3.) Any chance the lower grill which is available could be modified to work for upper grill?
I have looked, but have not found a thread for this exact subject. Yes I know you can pay the $600 for replacement parts and I know all the part numbers and install instructions, but it does not seem that a TRD Pro grill comes up available for parting and hacking often. I am willing to cannibalize with a cutting wheel and can fabricate brackets as needed, but would like to not waste our time if their are unseen major fitment issues. Thanks for the help!
