Passenger door noise?

Whenever my friend opens my passenger door there's a clicking noise that happens 3 times consecutively.. Anyone know what this could be? I can try and grab a video if no one has an idea

Sounds like the door limiter needs some lube or replacement possibly. I know my 2nd Gen did this as well as my 4th Gen 03. On the 2nd Gen I ended having to replace one and my 4th Gen some White Lithium got it to quieten down. Make sure hinges are lubed as well.

When you open the door, look at the little bar between the hinges that holds it open (the limiter that [MENTION=73338]BCfish[/MENTION] mentioned.) Sometimes these wear out and/or become loose. A 10mm wrench or ratchet to tighten up the bolts usually fixes the issue, otherwise they're easy to replace.
