Passenger side Footwell Hump?

I've 2013 Trail. Didn't notice this with carpet mat before but now with Toyota all weather liners i noted that passenger footwell has a hump in the middle near firewall and drops a little toward the door. Can some one check their 4Runner to confirm that this is design thing and not some rock damage which is unlikely because frame covers most of that area.

Do you have a picture of said lump? Here is mine its a 11' SR5 but I don't think that would change anything. Please excuse the dirty mats.

Hm. Odd, exactly what I'm talking about. I thought i hit something on the trail. Interesting design, though.
