most of the weight is on the trailer. also, doesn't it come with P rated tires, AND already have an adequate tow rating?

I ended up going with falken wildpeak at and they're e rated. Thanks for the help. My search for tires is finally over

Just so you know, the E rating means they have the potential to carry more load, but it's not automatic.

Consider 35psi a minimum. Probably a good idea to run a little more when towing.

Wow, those are some of the heaviest tires on the market. I had a set in 285 "D" rated and they went 64 lbs. each (!). :scared: No worries about ever overloading those... but you'll be hitting the gas station a lot more often.

So far I'm still getting about the same mpg. I have the 265/70s though.
