PB Blast, Impact Wrench, Leverage, and Elbow Grease...what next?

big thanks to all you guys, your knowledge helped me out big time! it took some extra leverage, in the form of a 3ft steel pipe on a torque wrench, and a liberal amount of pb blast. i did try the mix of atf and acetone and i tried it on an old lawnmower I've got sitting behind my barn, and woah! this stuff works, i highly recommend it over pb blast, and it was only about $10 to make. thanks again guys, happy travels!

Glad the 3' cheater pipe worked, but for future reference- NEVER use a torque wrench for breaking stuff loose- it will completely ruin the calibration- afterall it is a delicate instrument. Get a dedicated breaker bar- you don't even need a ratchet, just the simple kind will take the most abuse.

Zimm, dont worry, i was concerned about that very prospect when it was suggested by a mechanic friend i try it! if the amount of pressure it took per bolt to try to break it loose made me uncomfortable, i switched over to wrench and pipe, i second to never using a torque wrench in extreme situations, only moderate to light load
