Pedal Commander v. Sprintbooster

So thanks to the Black Friday sales going on sprintboostersales.com has the V3 marked down to $217.49 and pedalcommander.com has PC38 Bluetooth marked down to $263.99.

Curious on who has what or if you could get one, what would you go with?

Personally I am leaning towards the sprintbooster but kinda feel like for $50 more the Pedal w/ Bluetooth would be nice to tuck away potentially under the dash and just use my phone.

Can’t help with your choice, but I personally bought the SB, and highly recommend it. It transformed for the feel of my truck. As for using your phone with the other one, I don’t see that as any advantage at all since once you find the sweet spot setting, you’ll likely never touch it again, which is why I didn’t mount my controller on the dash. I routed it into the area where the fuse block is, and left the controller hanging out the hole in the cover for a week or so while I played with the settings. Once I was happy, I tucked it back into that area and haven’t touched it since. If I ever want to tune it down for another driver or to use valet mode, I can easily access it, but I retain the stock appearance of not having it mounted.

My pedal commander is awesome! I have the one without Bluetooth.
I have now drove vehicles with both, to me there was virtually no difference between the 2, like the other gentleman said you kinda set it and forget it once you find your sweet spot! Both make a world of difference. You can’t go wrong with either.
Personally I would go without Bluetooth, one less thing to go wrong IMO.

Thanks guys for your input, I ended up going with the SB. For $50 less and I'm sure as far as what they do they are basically the same. The bluetooth aspect does seem like one more thing to go wrong with it and more of a gimmick because like you both said you set it and go, not like its a tuner where one would be messing with it on a more frequent basis. Well appreciate it again and excited for it to get here!

I bought the Bluetooth version of the PC and for what it's worth, I think it's awesome. The bluetooth meant I could completely hide the unit and just open the app when I want to change it.

To me there is some validity to changing it on the fly. Eco for long freeway stretches, but you're switching freeways or maybe want some quicker passing? Change it with the app on the fly.

I've been on the fence about these for a while now. For those who have either one, how are they for off-road use? I'm worried the throttle might be too sensitive. Thoughts?

Yes, I have one and it definitely needs turned off when offroading, any little bump will jump the throttle. Though it actually helps a little when offroading (when off); once you get used to the more sensitive pedal, turning it off makes it seem super-deadened in comparison. When on, it kind of learns your foot to be more steady if that makes sense.

I read pedal commander’s Eco mode also helps with off-road. I don’t have either, but it looks like PC has more drive options. Damn, I missed out on that Black Friday deal!

I didn't have a 4Runner yet, but I'll be checking it out next Black Friday.
