I have these in my fogs and love them they are nice and bright. You do NOT want them in your headlights people will hate you
Interesting. Just because the light spread is so much different or what?
They don't shine far just really wide and bright. So for a foglight they are perfect. I went with the XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit for the headlights and they are perfect
I ordered 2 sets of them thinking I will put them in the low beams and the fog lights. How do you think that set-up would fair?
As others have stated, I don't think they would fair well at all.
It's the positioning of the LED's on the heat sink (stem) not being able to shine in a 360 degree pattern in the side firing projectors that is reducing a lot of your needed light.
Also, you may or may not be satisfied with Sylvania ZXE's or Ultra's as you would with some quality Morimoto HID's or XD HID's.
Only you can make that determination.
I went the same route with Halogen replacements and was not satisfied "at all", therefore I went with Morimoto HID's from theretrofitsource and have not had any issues since the install. Period.
YMMV
EDIT: If you decide to go the "HID Route", do yourself a favor and stay away from the cheap sh!t.... You'll just pay for it over again.
I've learned through my parents and my grandparents' mistakes of not buying cheap. You get what you pay for and I'm a firm believer in that. So I always buy quality over buying cheap. How hard of an install are the HID lights?
The HID kits are all plug and play really simple to install
Well I think you guys all talked me out of LED's in the headlights. Just emailed Xenon Depot to see if I can change my order before it ships.

Are the HID kits from Xenondepot truly plug and play? Meaning I mount the ballast and install the bulb just like a normal bulb?
In the longer lighting thread I saw where people were cutting into the the housing and some were having condensation issues within the casing. I have no interest in this and would like to retain the ability to return to stock in the future.
