That is a good read. I have the otterbox defender and, being over six feet tall, have dropped and literally thrown my S7 across the room on tile on concrete and pavement. No damage. The case is a little large, I will admit, but at least i know it works.

Well, if you ever get a new phone, then check out Otterbox Pursuit series. I have it now on my iPhone XS. Great case. Protective but thinner than Defender. It also does not let dust/dirt into the case, which can then scratch your phone.
