I had a 2010 Limited 4 x 2 in Blizzard Pearl. We put 160,000 miles on that thing and sold it for $20,000 a couple of years ago. I have missed that truck and have been wanting another since we sold it.
I allocated a 2018 Limited 4x4 in Nautical Blue w/Redwood. It was delivered last week and I picked it up on Saturday.
A few thoughts:
The colors (interior and exterior) are stunning!
The 4 x 4 is beefier than the 4 x 2. Rides great, much better than our Highlander.
They haven't done much to the truck in terms of updates. I do appreciate the memory button for the seat positions and the window antenna! These were common complaints back then. Also it seems the rear doors are solid now, I remember them sounding quite hollow when they were shut.
I will definitely miss the orange/white speedo dials. I'm not a fan of the current blue/white combo.
I've ordered all the simple upgrades: the better JBL speakers, Salex organizers and a Beavertail. I've got an installer lined up for the speakers and to do some Dynamat in the doors. I'm waiting on my detailer to come and finish the exterior with CQuartz Finest Reserve before I unleash her on the streets.
