this happens to be close to my house, fun time at night out there (im not into the ghosts things, moreso on the lookingout for crackheads, etc.) but here it is duringa day run. about 3 hrs on trails and we all made it through the tough sections. first picture is an idea of icy deep hidden boulder and rutted trails, not even the worst one.

yeah, 10 mins to my house and one of few legal places in the state to wheel.

can be fun with snow on the easier roads...like the one with my white truck.

the deep holes are confined to about 5 miles total and theres a lot of deep holes, which my truck has been through all of them many times without a snorkel

haunted forest as in: ghost hunters document there, theres been a lot of animal sacrifice and cults meeting there, murders/mafia dumpings, supposedly a Pukwudgie creature, and some sketchballs out there. i dont have an LTC but my friend jay said he wouldnt go out there without carrying heat. i only have an 18" machete behind my passenger seat and bear spray. im in a local jeep club that goes out there a lot and i dont mind it generally (I'm 6'3 210 lbs)

many people do not use photobucket because it is a paid for service to use their site. If you go back to many threads from now into the past most of them are now useless because of photobucket's greed.

im going to change to something else soon. im usually not a big blame guy or sue happy type person but whoever is responsible for photobucket and essentially holding millions of peoples photos ransom ought to be put in a cell.

also i forgot to mention, a lot of the taboo from here and the rich history in this area in general is that it is the locations of the King Philips war, before this was America...essentially wheeling and living among old indian grounds from the late 1600s.

^ it is a good time. if you want to run for 3ish hours then ideally theres been snow or a lot of rain to make the easier trails more entertaining, the hard sections are more intense such as what we did in the first pic, and those sections are more fun or less stressful when its been a bit dryer out (maybe letting you see a line or rock out of the water as opposed to just hopping in blind and hoping you dont smoke your diff.

i put this up here because east coast style wheeling is a lot different than all this touring style, rock crawling, overlanding out west. the mountains in the northeast are just 2-4 hrs away from where i live if i want some of that action but it still seems more hagard. i have another area i run 40 mins from my house that is sand styled trails along some ponds with sand pits as well, towards cape cod.

some day i want to drive my 4runner to CO and do some mtn passes.
