Picture Request: Millenium Silver T4R w/ Rear Bumper painted Black

Slow morning at work. I shopped your signature photo.
I would suggest plastidipping your rear bumper to get a better idea if you like it or not. One can will be enough ($6 at home depot). Before doing it myself, I would have scoffed at the idea.
Wash your rear bumper with dish wash and dry it well before you paint. Also, be sure to mask other things you don't want dipped and take the plastic top off the rear bumper until it's fully dried and cured the next day. Do not sand so this is reversible if you change your mind or it just comes out bad. Take time to apply it correctly in multiple thin coats with at least 15 minutes between them. The first 3 coats, it's not going to look good and have much color because it's slowly gaining coverage. By the 5th spray, it should be close. I used 1 full can on my bumper and personally, I wouldn't spend the money to repaint. My original intention was to paint mine also or pick them color matched from a limited. They were chrome before. It's been one year and it's held up great.

Thanks!! I had no idea that could be done like that! Yeah I might try plastidip to see, main reason I want to paint is so when it gets paint chipped I don't have to paint it the factory color again w/ expensive paint.
