i've heard of one guy messing with the electric generators in the Prius to exploit the instant torque of an electric motor and putting down some SERIOUS lap times

Was watching the green chanel once,ok maybe a couple times, and they had an electric powered land rover on it competing against another modded 4x4 and it climbed better, of course better economy and some other challenge. The show puts "green" powered vehicles against the current available products in its class to see if it would be a viable product. Some of the "green" vehicles were all Hillbilly but others had top notch workmanship.

Prius's suck, a tdi jetta will last longer and is actually efficent at any speed and way less harmful to the environment.
