Never done this before so bare with me. I will try to post only things I think people might care about. So this is were the adventure began. An 86' DLX model with a 22re and w56 5spd. Tho po had just put new carpet and upholstery when it was stolen an had the stereo and other addons stolen so it was salvaged. I picked it up for $1200

Sorry I don't know how to do multiple pics in a post. So I'll just keep going in new ones. The runner needed some parts to be totally road worthy. So I went back to Craigslist where I found the truck originally to find the parts I needed. Turns out I found a whole truck minus seats and the 22re had been pulled out and completely torn apart. The guy was asking $800. I got it for $600. My brother drives an 88' sr5 xcab as a dd so we split the $600 price tag and picked it up for parts. This is best photo I have avail. at this time of it the day we picked it up

After we brought it home we quickly realized that the parts rig was the the better rig so on with the swap. Pulled the eng and interior out of the 86' and put the 87' on the road. Now it was time to start making the t4r I wanted it to be. First the procomp 4" lift.

Then off to Craigslist for a set of 15x10 aluminum mods. Picked up for $125 and as set of "slightly" worn 32 bfgs and some scrap dom 1 1/4" tubing for sliders and rear bumper.

Then a nice flat black paint job and a set of 4crawler ball joint spacers (found on Craigslist with the addition on the rancho t-bars I found on the original rig I bought.

I wheeled it this way for a while and then added a set of Prp racing seats and a custom cup holder console. Sorry for the pic don't know how to fix.

After a few more wheeling trips the stock gears were just not up to the new. 33" MUDs. So I went back to Craigslist and picked up a 93' runner factory 4.88 rear diff. And a pickapart for a factory 4.88 add diff from a 95' runner. Did the long tube axel swap and now we have a set of factory gears in the stock 1st gen configuration.

Wheeled her like this for a year or so and then the new paint job when the black had gotten a little worn out. And here is the latest pisa configuration. I did this very fast and have left out lots of little thing like the addition of the led lights and some stuff but it's my sort of a build thread and will give me a place to post new additions to her. I hope you all enjoy it like I do the other build threads on here.

Last but not the end. Pisa had a ruff weekend broke both cv axels at the diff end on the gold mountain trail this weekend with the Sons of Thunder 4wd club. Had a blast. So I will up date with the repairs as the occur.

Right!? What winter..?! Other than the one big rainstorm, it's been mid-70s to near 90 all season. (what season, there's no seasons, just summer and summer lite). :usa:

You are right on both accounts sort of. The box started as my gear box and has become a speaker box on top. Duel purposes
