well i just follow a video from youtube just clean it, let it dry and spray the pasti dip, i bought the plasti dip at my local home depot
this seems to be the rave, but how durable are they? is it better than paint cause I would think one snag the goods might peal off like latex off a naked hot chick:whip2:. wait, did i say that out loud? (dam inner monolog typing isn't working today) must be the beer talking. lol
by the way I like them. they look really good. did you apply it with the wheels on?

yeah i sprayed it with my wheels on
did you get all crazy and get the inner wheel or just the outer part that is seen mostly?
how much prep did you do and what did you you used.
I have to wait till it warms up cause its about 5 deg out so its not going to happen till it warms up. cause this is cost effective for sure.

Which color did you use? I know it's black, but which product of theirs?
plasti dip looks awesome, especially at first, hold up well- the better the more coats you put on- there is one main problem that i have found with it and plastidipping wheels- brake dust is almost impossible to clean out of it. its almost easier to just spray another coat everytime instead of cleaning your rims. I plastidipped my tacoma rims when i had my tacoma and loved it for 2-3 months but then i realized the pain of cleaning it and peeled it all off. Then sold the truck but thats a different story haha

Looks good. I did the same thing to my split 3s. Plasti dip is great. Thinking of doing my bumpers next.
How long ago did you do yours? Has it held up? Do you ever go off roading?
