PML AW4, A340 Transmission Pan

Looking into larger pans before i make one and came across this one...

I don't like the idea of having to load fluid into the "dipstickless" pan thru a tube bent backwards to prevent fluid from leaking out when loading, what a pain the ass.... :cowboy:

An increase of 1 quart in a trans that takes 15 quarts to fully fill hardly seems worth the 300$ too. My 80$ b&m cooler added more capacity than that. I've thought about making a larger pan. And for that price that is what I would do

We basically have the same trans as the AW4 in the Jeep’s and their pan is smaller than ours. I’m sure that pan was developed for the AW4 in the Jeep’s. It may be the same capacity as our factory pan in the end.

Supra guys would use a Lexus GS trans pan to increase fluid capacity on their A340s...never compared one to the other so I can't say if it's even a viable "OEM plus" upgrade for our 3rd gens though.
