A stupid thread for all you really stupid 4runner forum members.:roadkill:
Not to veer off the subject a bit but, I guess with that mentality, saying there isn't any difference between an Italian, a German, and a French man. :ybrick::wtf:![]()
I know what you're saying, but at least Venezuelans and Mexicans tend to both be Hispanic and/or Latino. I dont see that similarity between Italians, Germans, French.

Mexican is a dialect not a language nor Spanish. Therefore saying Mexicans and Venezuelans speak "Spanish" and/or are Latino is incorrect.
Central and/or South American people tend to speak more of a Castilian Spanish and accent than Mexicans do. Not trying to make 2 wrongs become a right but this is basic knowledge.
Mexican means someone from Mexico, where the spoken language is commonly known as Spanish. Venezuelan is someone from........Venezuela, also a country where the predominant language spoken is Spanish. You don't even have to get into dialects, that's beside the point. German, French, and Italian are all equally different, just like Spanish. They all fall into the scope of Romance Languages.
But, back to the point...there is more of a similarity from two individuals who both speak the same general language, not completely different languages all together. Both would be individuals hailing from Latin America, therefore Latinos. It's pretty simple.
Not really, I say Dialect because it's not really Spanish. Therefore Mexican doesn't just mean they are from Mexico, it also means their language/dialect if you will. We can go back and forth on the subject all day until we are blue in the face, but there are a ton of words which I have tried to decipher and/or looked up in any of the dictionaries readily available, and the words that are spoken do not exist. Again, this is why they make up their language as they go along. Hence why I say, you cannot categorize it as "Spanish."
Sure...I mean the same argument could be said about Americans....we don't speak English. Especially with words like 'selfie"...but most people would still consider Americans to speak English, just like the national language of Mexico is Spanish, the language they are considered to speak. Google seems to think so at least...

You're still not getting it... Selfie was just made up as an addition to, whereas I am talking about the actual language (In this case Spanish) which they butcher to make up their language/dialect..
People butcher English all over the U.S., world, etc....it's no different than Mexico, this happens with any language...Mexico is not special. Language is always evolving.
I am merely stating that (And I understand that Mexico is not special) the linguo, if you will, was butchered right from the get go, not because it is evolving as in, "from now on"
