Possible Pathfinder replacement

Oh and check your wheel bearings as far as that wobble goes.. lift front, then grab wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and try to pull back and forth.. if you have play, that's the culprit.. repeat on other wheel afterwards.. good luck..

Well first and foremost hello all here at T4R. Jerm here from SC looking to dump the 2001 Pathfinder DD and upgrade to a 4Runner.

Now that pleasantries are out of the way I have only a few questions for your extensive knowledge base here. First is how much do the Sport style hoods go for used? (color doesn't matter) And if y'all don't mind using the link below can anyone ID the badge on the rear hatch lid right side on this beaut I'm am highly considering to replace the dreaded Pathfinder. This rig is has everything I want except the hood and darker colored interior seating. Any help or info on this 4Runner is greatly appreciated! Help me get out of the horrible Pathfinder!!!

Not related, but out of curiosity, what problems did you encounter with your Pathfinder? I thought those R50 Pathfinders were solid built equipped with powerful VQ35DE engine.

Someone i know is about to get one of those, so would like to hear from your personal experience.:thanks:

Thanks! Wheel bearing causing a wobble....? Hmm my old Sierra always made horrible noise when the bearing was going bad but no wobble but I will be sure to check that out thanks! It only wobbles around 45mph and up.

In my personal opinion the R50 is garbage. Poor build quality, cheap GM like plastic interior (not counting the actual dash), under powered, just was not happy at all with it. Now mine was a 2001 model so it was a young R50 the newer R50's and QX4's may have had a these things fixed. But I wouldn't recommend a Nissan to anyone that was built after 1996 that is when the quality dropped off. I hope this helps!
