Prestige Toyota in NY

I have been coming here for years. I bought my fourth gen there and was treated really well by the sales dept., and I have been bringing in my 2010 Trail for the last two years. They have lifted it, performed great alignments, and done all the custom work I have asked them to. I always use Ryan, one of their service managers.

I feel fortunate to live down the road from them...seems like a lot of people have to travel to have quality mods done.

Just bought a 2002 LC so they are starting to work on that as well. One of the really nice things about their service dept. -- and something I always take for granted -- is that they will not push you to have work done. They will tell you what's necessary and what can wait.

In my experience it's rare to be able to share a positive review of a dealership.

Thank you so much for the heads-up on Prestige Toyota in Kingston. They treated my '02 4Runner with much TLC and it shows. They took to the time to share with me some glaring errors from the alleged top-notch shop I've been using in Brooklyn for the past 4 years (wrong spark plugs, seized rear bell crank, right front brake caliper seized & right front rotor rusted due to pads sticking to calipers, the list goes on).

Although it feels truly horrible to be betrayed, it feels a lot better to know that my 4Runner is back in trustworthy hands.

I don't believe Prestige of Ramsay is associated with Prestige of Kingston. A quick internet search reveals that they are owned & operated by different people.

As CatskillsRunner mentioned, Ryan at Prestige of Kingston is great. He's patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. I've also had superior help from Chuck at Prestige of Kingston. And Lou, their parts manager, is happy to help you with TRD upgrades to your 4Runner, old or new.

The drive is scenic and serene if you leave before dawn, especially on I-87N. I must mention the potholes in lower Manhattan & Weehawken / Secaucus (if you take the Holland Tunnel) are tougher to see before dawn. I've had extremely close calls with knee-deep craters that should've had the bright orange fencing (with blinking lights) or at least cones around them to warn drivers.

Kingston Toyota has a customer "office" area, an enclosed glass room with a table and chairs. I bring my laptop and work while they work. Free coffee, too.

However, a closer dealer would be ideal. I haven't attempted Atlantic Toyota. Queensboro Toyota was no good. My auto repair snafus came courtesy of Repairs on Wheels on McDonald.
