My shop did it for $80, not sure if that's high or low, but i didn't mind the price

No joke, I was about to say the same. I'm sure that doesn't include alignment. For those prices, I am sure they aren't necessarily installed the same as what we may do it ourselves. Meaning shortcuts or something.
The reason I ask is that a local shop quoted me 1700 total for 4x275/70R17 KO2s and a 3/2 lift leveling kit (didn't ask the brand cause I'm a moron) which seemed a couple hundred high. But they are a well respected shop.

Mine didn't include alignment, but they got it very close. My family has been doing Buisness with the shop for 30+ years so I'm sure they helps us out since we keep coming back

some what off topic, but yea get a few quotes.
I had desert rat here in Phoenix quote be 11hrs labor to install my 1.25 inch body lift, I about passed out. It was clear they had no desire to do it do they over quoted me, I did it myself in my garage in 5hrs.

My local shop Will install a 3/2 lift or any combo from a .5" to 3" including alignment for free, if you purchase the lift for $250 and a set of tires from them. Was told the lift is not branded but is made of 6061 aluminum. So most all the tacos, tundras, and 4runners are leveled or lifted at the local high school. Lol
