Does anybody here know anyone who can press a ball joint into my lower control arms for a decent price? I want to put in these Mevotech TTX ball joints but it cost almost as much as buying a new oem lower control. I live in L.A.

You can rent the tool from autozone and press them yourself. Just get the bigger kit. The smaller kit doesnt have all the cups you need. But today, its nsane what mrchanics are charging. But this is a DIY repair. Just make sure it goes in straight.
Why mevotech? I believe they are chynese.

Check out Proforged made in Amerika (NJ) and come with a million mile warranty. PROFORGED 10110350 If you buy from their website you get free shipping. $42 each.

My initials are D.T. just like the Donald. I was thinking about the Proforge a while back. Are they better than Mevotech TTX? What makes them better besides the million mile warranty?

Made in the USA vs Chyna. Its not a job you want to do twice.

A word of caution, these are greasable lbj. Its in a tight space and you need a 90 degree zirk fitting. Find on that doesnt rust. I just regreased and one had rusted badly. Had to center punch the zirk to open the valve. Im sure the zirk is rusted into the lbj and replacing it isnt an option.
